Pilates Essentialencompasses a wide range of styles from classical,the chiball methode to contemporary Pilates class.

Pilates Flow – with props ( Magic circle, Toning Balls & Roller )

Gentle Pilates: is taught in a slower pace, perfect for those recover from injuries.

Slings in Motion Pilates: This specific Training (Slings Myofascial Training®) will improve your posture, release tension in your body, increase of flexibility, tissue hydration, body and movement awareness. Inspired by Slings Myofascial Training® by art of motion®.

Advanced Flow: Intermediate/Advanced level & start to offer more challenging exercises for those who are after something a little more. This fused class gives lots of different options to suit both Intermediate & Advanced levels & is designed to progress knowledge & strength. Key concepts on proper abdominal activation (taught in Pilates Essential & Remedial Pilates) & good core strength have to be grasped before making the progression to this class.Continuous flow of each exercise series also provides a cardiovascular workout.

Slings in Motion Pilates: This specific Training (Slings Myofascial Training®) will improve your posture, optimizes resilience, promotes balanced myofascial tone, tissue hydration and nourishment. This unique training offers an interplay of myofascial meridians with differentiated exercises and movement sequences that involve meridians entirely.Inspired by Slings Myofascial Training® by art of motion®.

Remedial Pilates:  The exercises provided at Create Movement Remedial Pilates class will be tailored to optimising your recovery and your unique needs. Exercises are often progressed over several sessions and can include: • Tailored Pilates exercises to assist in optimal lumbar-pelvic control • Rehabilitation exercises for sports injuries • Post-operative exercise following surgery • Goal focused functional rehabilitation exercises

 

Slings Myofascial Training
Slings Myofascial Training is a fascia-focussed body-minded movement method. This mat-based training can be enhanced and adapted with massage balls or other small supportive props.

The method is based on the latest findings in research supporting the body-wide interconnectedness of muscles and fascia. We can identify lines or “slings” that connect us from head to toes and extremities to trunk. Through this research we also have clearer information supporting how we can train more deliberately and holistically to include the fascia of the body.

Strengthening, mobilizing, stabilizing, enhancing movement efficiency and the structural balance of your body are in focus. The movements are intentionally executed in a slow, rhythmical or dynamic manner in different dimensions. Besides exercises developed especially for Slings, the training consists of adapted exercises from Yoga, Pilates and other therapeutic approaches to the body in movement.
The sense of well-being and freedom after the class is priceless!

Yoga & Slings

With its consciously slow, rhythmical and dynamic exercises, Slings Myofascial Training is beautifully tied into your yoga practice.Established Asanas merge with Slings sequences and modified Yoga exercises into a new, creative myofascial practice.

Achieve a healthy balance of joint mobility and stability, muscular flexibility and fascial adaptability. Broaden your movement spectrum by adding enriching dimension through Yoga & Slings.

The Slings method is based on the latest findings in research that muscles and fascia are interconnected throughout the body in myofascial “slings”.The integral Slings training is mat-based and can be further enhanced by the use of massage balls or other supportive props.

All classes are 60 minutes in duration.
