ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Claudia!

Originally from the beautiful Black Forest in South Germany, I migrated to Australia 20 years ago. I fell in love with the Pilates method in 2008 and have been teaching Pilates across Australia since 2009.

I have changed a lot over the past fourteen years and one of the most influential changes for me was introducing Yoga and Pilates into my life. It has helped me in so many ways, both physically and mentally. It’s been a transformation of improved health and can I tell you I really needed it.

I have always lived a very active life cycling, hiking, dancing, and in particular snowboarding and skiing, having lived in the Swiss alps for many years.

In 2007, I was suffering from a back injury. I was working in a high demanding role, often working countless hours. I experienced burn out and practiced poor eating and sleeping habits. This lifestyle was far from great. I was home sick and lacking in motivation.

However, it was after my back injury in 2007 and when recognizing my low level of job satisfaction that I was first introduced to Pilates. That was the key to my healing and rehabilitation and it unlocked the door to a life-long love and passion.

Pilates and Yoga brought peacefulness into my life. Now I feel physically strong.

 I have changed my lifestyle and made a commitment to let go of my old career in the hospitality and food industry after 25 years.

Introducing Pilates and Yoga has been a life-changing event for me. The continued practice has increased quality of life, inner peace and massively improved my well- being.
